I studied nutrition at Hawthorne University and received my coaching training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. My approach to everything including diet is…. KEEP IT SIMPLE! Being healthy doesn’t have to be hard.
My rules to health:
1.) Keep it Clean– no processed foods, dyes, refined sugars, fake foods, chemicals, etc.
2.) Hydrate with clean water. Avoid city water and drink lots of clean spring water- it’s truly Magic!
3.) Sleep-Get at least 6-8 hours a night, and takes naps when you can. Rest your body when it’s tired.
4.)Spend at Least 30 Minutes in Nature a Day– Preferably in your bare feet!
5.)Disconnect- from technology that is. Turn off your electronic devices, read a book, cuddle with your partner, snuggle you kids or fur babies. Tune into the world around you.
6.) Get Rid of the Clutter- in your house, your mind, your finances, all aspect of your life.
7.) Gratitude– be grateful for what you have. We only have a short time in the magical place. Cherish those peoples, places and experiences that have blessed your life. Even if they were/are challenging. They have taught you valuable lessons. Love the gifts in each of them.
8.) LOVE YOURSELF UNCONDITIONALLY- You are the only you there is. Bless the world with your greatness, weirdness and uniqueness. The world needs your light!
